It is a complex combination of physical, social, and psychological factors. That is why we treat each patient as an individual. After obtaining a medical history, performing a physical examination and reviewing diagnostic tests, we develop an individualized treatment plan. This may include a psychological assessment since depression and anxiety are very common among pain patients. The goal of this plan is the reduction of pain and the return to a productive and fulfilling lifestyle.
