Dr. Jose G. Veliz has been providing quality care to patients since 1993. He received his medical degree at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine and went on to complete a residency in Anesthesiology at the University Of Southern California Medical Center. He has opted to pursue a solo practice in order to maintain the highest quality of care possible for his patients.

Dr. Veliz holds the honor of being a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology. He remains active in his field and holds professional memberships with the American Pain Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and the International Association for the Study of Pain - just to name a few. He is dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in the field, while providing his patients with the best medical treatment available.

Away from the office, Dr. Veliz enjoys reading, photography and chess. He is also fluent in Spanish.

During an average week, Dr. Veliz performs well over fifty (50) interventional pain management procedures. He is well versed in the latest techniques and highly experienced in performing interventional pain management procedures. Dr. Veliz always utilizes fluoroscopy, when possible, in order to perform his interventional pain management procedures with precision. This also enables him to assist each patient with the greatest accuracy possible. Additionally, Dr. Veliz performs medical acupuncture and oversees a Spine Med decompression program.
